What is AG Coin & Bullion?

AG Coin & Bullion Review

AG Coin & Bullion is both a buyer and a seller of gold and silver bullion, as well as coins. Moreover, it is also interested in platinum, jewelry, scrap gold and silver.

Based on its website, AG Coin & Bullion has been in business since 2005, offering services to investors and the public. Its retail store is based and located in 10515 West Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72205.

The company prides itself on offering competitive pricing and transparent business practices, including a commitment to disclosing all fees and charges upfront.

While it's always important to conduct thorough research and due diligence when considering any investment opportunity, AG Coin & Bullion has established a solid reputation as a trusted dealer with a focus on transparency, customer service, and community involvement.

The company has partnered with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and local schools and youth programs to give back to the community.

Who is the Owner?

There is no information on the internet regarding who owns AG Coin & Bullion. However, as I have researched, I found out that the company was founded by Anthony Greco, a passionate collector and dealer of precious metals and rare coins.

So far, the only thing I found from its website is that AG Coin & Bullion is owned by a certified numismatist who is also a member of Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).

Beyond that information, there are no other disclosed information even about the company's executive team. It's possible that Greco also serves as the company's CEO or holds other executive positions within the organization

Products and Services

AG Coin & Bullion offers two main services: selling and buying gold and silver. Based on its website, here are the things that it buys and sells

1.) Bullion Products: AG Coin & Bullion offers a range of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bullion products from reputable mints such as the US Mint, Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, and others. These products include bars, coins, rounds, and other forms of bullion.

2.) Numismatic Coins: In addition to bullion products, AG Coin & Bullion also offers a selection of rare and collectible coins for collectors and investors looking for unique and historically significant pieces.

3.) IRA Services: AG Coin & Bullion offers IRA services to help clients invest in precious metals within a self-directed IRA account. This allows clients to diversify their retirement portfolio and potentially benefit from the long-term growth potential of precious metals.

4.) Education: AG Coin & Bullion provides educational resources for investors and collectors, including articles and videos on precious metals investing, in-person seminars and events, and access to industry experts and advisors.

5.) Secure Storage: AG Coin & Bullion offers secure storage options for clients who wish to store their precious metals in a safe and secure facility. The company works with trusted third-party storage providers to ensure the safety and security of clients' investments.

How Does It Work?

Even though AG Coin & Bullion has a website, it does not feature an online shop or marketplace wherein clients can make their orders online.

The only way to do business with it is through face-to-face transaction. Moreover, it is indicated in the website that no walk-ins are available. You should contact them to set an appointment.

Their business operation make it seem that they are only interested in local investors. They are focused on giving their services in person.

Payment And Shipping

Once you have chosen the products you want to purchase, it is time for you to make your payments.

AG Coin & Bullion only accepts payments made via Paypal, cash or check. When you do pay through check, AG Coin & Bullion will hold your items until your check will clear the bank. All items are received within 24 hours after shipping.

Moreover, shipments are made through Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service. You can also make arrangements if you wish to use another shipping method.

Take note!

AG Coin & Bullion does not include postal insurance on the ordered items to make your costs lower. Most precious metals dealers out there always have the items insured.

However, you will always have the option to include it. It is highly recommended to spend a little extra money for that.

Rating, Reviews and Complaints

When I review precious metals firms, dealers and companies, I always make sure to include their ratings, reviews and complaints to have a better perspective of how legit they are.

As for AG Coin & Bullion, there are no ratings, reviews or complaints available online. I did find a link to its BBB profile. However it is not BBB accredited and does not have any rating.

AG Coin & Bullion Review BBB

AG Coin & Bullion has been in business since 2005. But, its online presence is weak. I believe that they are still starting out with their online expansion. Its website is a proof of that.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • It is in business since 2005
  • Owned by an experienced numismatist who is a member of PCGS
  • Has a wide range of products

Cons

  • Weak online presence
  • No ratings, reviews and complaints online
  • Orders are not fully insured
  • Not BBB accredited
  • No online shop

Is AG Coin & Bullion a Scam?

Let's conclude this AG Coin & Bullion review by answering this question. Although currently there is a lack of information regarding this dealer, we can't really say that it is a scam.

Apart from that, it has been in business since 2005 and it is owned by an experienced and knowledgeable numismatist, who knows a lot about the industry.

According to the reviews I have researched about, they are legit and conduct authentic on-site business. Although information is lacking, it's safe to say that they are legit enough to be able to run the business for over 18 years and counting now.

AG Coin & Bullion may still be starting out on expanding online, explaining their weak online presence. For now, they still operate face-to-face. When more information about it surfaces, I will make sure to update this review and let you know!
